10GRM Art Clay Silver 650 Slow Dry
This is the one I use for nearly all my classes and is the best buy if you’re a beginner. The ‘Slow Dry’ gives you a longer working time which is very helpful. From this amount you should be able to make a pendant & earrings, for example. Pop any unused clay back into the pack with a spray of water to keep it moist until needed again.

7GRM Art Clay Silver 650 Slow Dry
The ‘Slow Dry’ version is great for beginners as it gives a longer working time. With 7grams you could make a pair of earrings or a ring, for example.

10GRM Art Clay Silver 650 Paste
Invaluable for joining two pieces of clay, even dry clay. This pot is a wise investment as if you add any tiny pieces of clay that are too small to work with, then a few drops of water and so on, it becomes an everlasting paste pot ! Can also be used for painting leaves, bisque beads etc.

10GRM Art Clay Silver 650 Syringe
Great for decorating your designs. Rather like icing a cake, this syringe can be used to create artistic squiggles or random filigree work and with some practice, beautiful scrolls and raised textures. This pack contains a medium (green) nib, which is the size I find most useful for all types of projects.

Stainless Steel Mesh
Probably the easiest way to fire your silver clay at home. Place the mesh directly over the ring on your gas hob or camping stove. Carefully add item to be fired (make sure it’s 100% dry), ensuring it sits in one of the ‘hotspots’. Leave for at least 5 mins. That’s it……! This pack also contains a handy mesh safety box to sit over the item whilst it fires.
£9.95

Gas Torch
An easy to operate torch. Can fire small pieces in 2 – 2.5 minutes. Supplied empty but easily filled with cigarette lighter (butane) fuel. NB You will also need a sturdy, heatproof surface to fire on – see the Fibre Brick, below.
£14.95

Ceramic Fibre Brick
A totally heat-proof, sturdy surface to put your dry pieces of clay onto before firing with the gas torch.
£6.50

Brush
A good basic stainless steel brush. Use this to brush your pieces after firing and begin the polishing process. Leaves silver with a lovely satiny sheen.
£4.50

Agate Burnisher
Work over your brushed, fired pieces with this burnisher to bring up a bright shine. This is a superior piece of equipment that is beautiful to hold and really satisfying to use. This is the most popular tool in my classes.
£10.50

Art Clay Silver Basic Book
This book is written by the people who created Art Clay Silver, so they know what they’re talking about! Contains great projects, suitable for beginners plus invaluable ‘Technical Tips’ pages which cover all the basics on working with Silver Clay, firing, setting stones, making rings etc. I sell lots of these at my classes and no-one has been disappointed!
£13.75
